Professor, Poet, Dreamhunk

This professor spoke to our class this morning. He was a literature professor who was born in Rome, studied literature at Oxford and lives now in Greece. His accent seemed both Greek and British. I loved that he said he translated his favorite poems into Greek (including ones by e e cummings, Pound, and Eliot). He gave an impassioned speech about what makes Greeks Greek, and ended up advising us to read whatever feels relevant to our lives. Love this guy. Glasses-wearers are my kryptonite. Where will I meet one like this, only about 20-25 years younger?
